AEG a020 Control Unit

The AEG LOGISTAT A020 is a compact programmable controller (PLC) designed to replace traditional relay logic with integrated logic, timing, and counting functions for small automation tasks in control panels and machines. The base LOGISTAT A020 variant (part number 7628-042.200568.05) is documented for 110/220 V AC supply and provides 24 inputs at 24 V and 16 relay outputs, all packaged in a 229 x 102 x 305 mm enclosure and weighing about 2.74 kg. A 24 V DC IO variant exists as LOGISTAT A020 E/24V/GL, described by vendors as a 24 V IO version suitable for 24 V control systems. Inside, the module runs on an 8031 CPU with 2 kB RAM and EEPROM-based program storage, programmed in the DOLOG 80A language, and it can be used as a standalone controller or expanded within a 19-inch rack chassis.
