Schneider Electric AS-BADU-206 Analog Input Module

The Schneider Electric AS-BADU-206 (also known as ADU206) is a four-channel analog input module for Modicon 984 PLCs, converting field signals into digital values read by the controller. The module accepts both voltage and current inputs across its four isolated channels and uses a two-pole data format to represent measurements. It provides channel-to-bus isolation up to 500 V and isolation to external power up to 500 V, helping protect the PLC and connected field devices from transients. Power is drawn from an external 24 V DC supply (typical 70 mA, maximum 100 mA) in addition to an internal 5 V DC source supplied from the I/O bus (typical ~60 mA). The ADU206/AS-BADU-206 is part of Schneider Electric’s Modicon A120-era I/O family and is commonly used for process monitoring and automation tasks that require reliable analog readings with isolation.
