AEP Transducers TA4-2 Analog Transmitter

The TA4/2 Analog Transmitter from AEP Transducers is a compact signal transmitter that powers, amplifies, and conditions the output from strain-gauge load cells for transmission to PLCs, PCs, recorders, or remote indicators up to 40 meters away. It supports internal paralleling of load cells, up to four 350 Ω cells or eight 700 Ω cells, simplifying wiring and reducing junction boxes. The unit provides analog outputs of 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, or ±5 V / ±10 V, with two user-selectable response speeds—Standard (2.5 Hz and 16.5 Hz) and Fast (1 kHz) selected via J4 and the F trim. Calibration is performed internally via dip switches for coarse adjustments and a trim potentiometer for fine zero and full-scale; an adjustable analog filter helps suppress vibrations, and enclosure options include a hermetic aluminum IP65 case or a plastic DIN-rail version for panel mounting, making it suitable for industrial weighing, process control, dosing in silos and hoppers, and other automation tasks.
