Aerotech AS32020 DR500 Axis Motion Controller

The Aerotech AS32020 DR500 Axis Motion Controller PCB Drive Card Module is a 3U-high brushless motor drive card that mounts in Aerotech’s DR500 amplifier chassis to drive a single axis of a brushless servo system. It supports AC brushless drive configurations (AS32020 or AS32030) from a 160 V DC bus, with continuous current ratings of 10 A RMS (AS32020) or 15 A RMS (AS32030) and peak currents of 20 A or 30 A, respectively, with PWM switching up to 20 kHz. In DR500 setups, installation requires a drive key in slot A (Aerotech part EAM857) and matching jumper configurations per the AS32020/AS32030 configuration table to ensure proper mating and operation. The DR500/UNIDEX 500 ecosystem provides bus power and I/O breakout for the axis drive, and the AS32020/AS32030 modules are rated for operation from −30 to 85 C and weigh about 0.5 kg (approximately 1 lb).
