Agilent Technologies 34903A Actuator General Purpose Switch Module

The Agilent Technologies 34903A 20-Channel Actuator/General-Purpose Switch Module is a 20-channel block of SPDT (Form C) latching relays designed for use with the 34970A/34972A Data Acquisition/Switch Unit. Each channel provides independent Normally Open, Normally Closed, and Common contacts accessible through screw terminals, enabling you to switch power to devices under test, drive status indicators, or energize external relays and solenoids; the module does not connect to the internal DMM. The 34903A delivers 300 V, 1 A actuation and control per channel, with a per-channel load rating up to 50 W, making it suitable for power-line switching applications. It’s commonly paired with matrix and multiplexer modules to build custom switch systems and can close multiple channels simultaneously. In software, the DAQ application does not support direct control of channel operations on non-scanning modules like this actuator; alarm conditions on scanning modules can be configured to open/close channels on the non-scanning module.
