Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OAW-4550 Wireless LAN Controller

The Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniAccess OAW-4550 Wireless LAN Controller is a high-capacity WLAN controller/switch for large-scale enterprise networks, capable of managing up to 512 APs with four 10GBase-X SFP+ uplinks for high-speed backhaul. It ships with a single 350W AC power supply and supports 50/60 Hz input, aligning with global power standards, and includes a Zero AP license to simplify initial deployments. As part of the OmniAccess 4x50 family (which also includes the OAW-4450, OAW-4650, and OAW-4750), the OAW-4550 delivers distributed WLAN control with integrated security features suitable for large campuses or enterprise environments. For optional enhanced policy enforcement, ALE offers a separate OAW-4550-PEFV firewall module to protect VIA/VPN users.
