Alcatel-Lucent LNW57 1665 OC192 CP Line Card Module

Alcatel-Lucent LNW57 OC-192 CP Line Card Module is an OC-192 circuit pack for the 1665 Data Multiplexer (DMX) platform, delivering high-capacity OC-192 transport via a long‑reach optical line interface unit designed for 1533.47 nm operation. Designed for main-slot deployment in the 1665 DMX, the LNW57 supports OC‑192 add/drop, UPSR and BLSR configurations, single- and dual-homing, and non-revertive linear and bidirectional 1+1 protection switching, with VT1.5 and STS payloads including STS-1, STS-3(c), STS-12(c), and STS-48(c). It uses a 48‑STS‑1 switch fabric within the 1665 DMX cross-connect fabric. The LNW57 is compatible with other OC‑192 packs in the DMX main slots (such as LNW56, LNW58, and LNW60) to scale high-capacity transport in metro systems. Guidance from Alcatel‑Lucent/Nokia notes that the optical output of OC‑192 circuit packs should be amplified to no more than +10 dBm.
