ALCO Controls EK-082 Liquid Line Filter-Drier

ALCO EK-082 is a liquid-line filter-drier with 1/4" SAE flare connections and an 8 cubic inch desiccant core designed to protect refrigeration and air-conditioning systems by removing moisture and filtering particulates from the liquid line. The compact cartridge runs about 5.63 inches long and features identical 1/4" SAE flare connections on both the inlet and outlet, part number 047605 (EK-082), a common OEM specification. It carries a maximum service pressure of 680 psi, making it suitable for typical 1/4" line circuits found in residential and commercial HVAC/R equipment. This EK-Series filter-drier provides moisture control and filtration in the liquid line to help safeguard metering devices and compressors from moisture-related issues and particulate contamination.
