Alco HFES 4MC-01 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is an externally equalized, balanced-port TXV designed for refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump applications. It provides a nominal 4-ton capacity for R-134a (Refrigerant Code M) with a Medium-Temperature charge (Charge Code C) and connects via 1/2" x 5/8" ODF ports with an external equalizer for stable superheat control. The valve features a stainless steel replaceable power assembly and supports straight-through or angle-flow configurations, with a maximum working pressure of 450 psig and a cap length of 5 ft.
