Alerton VLC-651R-E Unitary Field Controller MSTP

The Alerton VisualLogic VLC-651R-E Unitary Field Controller is a BACnet/MS‑TP HVAC controller designed for unit ventilators, fan‑coils, and other multi‑speed fan or motor applications. It provides six universal inputs (auto‑selectable for thermistor, dry contact, pulse, 0–5 V, 0–10 V, or 4–20 mA) and six outputs: two hot‑switched triac outputs, three binary high‑current relay outputs, and one analog output (0–10 V or 0–20 mA). A 32‑bit processor and nonvolatile flash memory run VisualLogic programming, with an internal 100 ms control loop and the ability to download or modify operating code for future updates. The VLC‑651R‑E is fully BACnet‑compliant on a BACnet MS/TP LAN up to 115.2 Kbps and supports Alerton Microtouch and Microset sensors for on‑site display and parameter adjustment. Isolated relay contacts are rated for motor loads of 120 VAC/1 HP, 240 VAC/2 HP, and 277 VAC/3–4 HP, as well as general purpose loads of 120 VAC @ 15 A and 240/277 VAC @ 10 A. This model is backwards compatible with older VLC‑651R variants, making it a flexible upgrade path for legacy Alerton systems while delivering reliable, field‑programmable control for HVAC equipment.
