Alfa Laval SRU-4 Rotorcase is the stainless-steel housing that encloses the SRU-4 rotary lobe pump rotors, forming the hermetic pumping cavities and providing precise rotor timing as the gear train drives the rotors. Designed specifically for the SRU family’s 4-series, this rotorcase works with SRU-4N and SRU-4W variants and is a key wear component in the pump head, pairing with the rotor case cover, rotors, rotor nuts, shafts, gearbox and shaft seals to deliver the SRU’s positive-displacement, low-shear transfer of process fluids. The rotorcase interfaces are manufactured for corrosion resistance, with configurations commonly specified in EN 1.4409 (CF-3) or AISI 316L, enabling compatibility with a wide range of hygienic, high-purity fluids across dairy, food and beverage, biotech, pharmaceutical and chemical applications.
