Allen-Bradley 1492-RIFM40F is a Digital Interface Module (IFM) in the 1492 Programmable Controller Wiring Systems, designed for use with a field-removable terminal block (RTB) and mounting on a DIN rail. It features a 40-pin cable header and, because the RTB is a separate option, must be ordered with an RTB (two terminal-block plugs per catalog number); it supports up to 132 VAC/DC for field wiring and is intended for DIN-rail installation on 35 mm top-hat rails. This module connects digital field devices to Allen-Bradley PLCs in industrial automation, with a current rating up to 12 A for the interface.
