Allen-Bradley 160-BMB1 Dynamic Braking Module is an external braking unit for Allen-Bradley 160-series Smart Speed Controller (SSC) drives, designed for 380–460 VAC three‑phase systems. It provides about 0.75 kW (approximately 1 HP) of braking capacity to dissipate energy during deceleration, and is intended for braking events with a duty cycle up to 5%.
