The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLBUFFER Buffer Module is a 24–28.8 V DC power-buffer accessory for 1606-series power supplies. It provides a buffered output of 23–27.8 V DC capable of 0–20 A (up to 480 W), with an input range of 24–28.8 V DC and a selectable buffered voltage option to tune the held-up voltage to match your DC bus. Buffer modules can be connected in parallel to increase hold-up time or total current capability, enabling extended uptime for critical loads in control panels and PLC power rails. Designed to deliver reserve power, the 1606-XLBUFFER helps sustain loads during momentary dips or outages without requiring oversizing of the main supply.
