Allen-Bradley 1606-XLDNET4 Network Interface Module

Allen-Bradley 1606-XLDNET4 is a DeviceNet network interface and power-supply module that provides 24 V DC power to DeviceNet devices while serving as the network interface to a Rockwell Automation control system. It delivers up to 4 A on the 24 V output, enabling multiple DeviceNet nodes on the same trunk, with a single-phase input compatible with 100–120 V AC or 200–240 V AC supply voltages. As part of the 1606-XLD family, the 1606-XLDNET4 is designed to meet DeviceNet wiring and cable requirements, including a 4 A current limit to stay within the capabilities of thin DeviceNet cable. This module is used in industrial automation applications to power and interface DeviceNet devices such as I/O modules, encoders, and sensors, connecting through Rockwell’s network architecture to a ControlLogix, CompactLogix, or legacy PLC system.
