Allen-Bradley 1606-XLPRED Redundancy Module

Allen-Bradley 1606-XLPRED is a compact redundancy module designed to back up DC power in Rockwell Automation control systems. It provides N+1 redundancy for DC power paths, enabling seamless handover between a primary supply and a hot standby, with an RDY relay contact to signal status. The unit accepts 12–48 V DC input and is rated for up to 384 W, delivering dual-path output with a current range from 0 to 10 A. It uses plug-in connectors for straightforward installation and is designed for demanding environments, including marine applications certified to ABS/GL/RINA. As part of the 1606 redundancy family, the 1606-XLPRED is intended to keep critical loads powered during supply faults, reducing system downtime in industrial control, packaging lines, and manufacturing processes.
