Description:

Allen-Bradley 1719-CF4H Ex I/O 4 Channel HART Analog Configurable Module is a hazardous-location I/O card in the 1719 Ex I/O family that provides four HART-enabled analog channels. The module is configurable as either four analog input channels or an analog output arrangement, offering flexible AI/AO operation for process instrumentation; each channel includes a dedicated HART modem that overlays digital information onto the 4–20 mA current loop, enabling two-wire transmitters to be read and monitored with one module. Channel wiring follows a 1+ / 2− for Channel I, 3+ / 4− for Channel II, 5+ / 6− for Channel III, and 7+ / 8− for Channel IV, all routed through the included 1719-TB8 eight-position terminal block. Designed for Ex I/O hazardous-area environments, it supports installation in Zone 2 / Class I, Division 2 or safe areas, making it suitable for demanding plants where multiple HART sensors must be monitored or controlled from a single card. In typical use, it reads four 4–20 mA HART transmitters, and when configured for AO, can drive local indicators or proportional loads, delivering a compact, versatile solution for integrating HART sensors into Rockwell Automation control systems.
