Description:
Allen-Bradley 1719-IBN8B Ex I/O 8-Channel Digital Input NAMUR Module is an eight-point digital input block built for intrinsically safe NAMUR sensing in hazardous environments. This wide NAMUR input module accepts eight NAMUR sensors and is designed for use with the 1719 PSDC power supply family, with a 12 V DC option available when connected to the PSDC system. Each channel supports line fault detection (LFD), which can be enabled or disabled per channel via the Add-on Profile to aid fault diagnosis without external equipment. Included is the Ex I/O 2x8 terminal block (1719-TB8x2SA) to simplify field wiring and connect the eight input channels to the controller network. As part of Rockwell Automation’s 1719 Ex I/O family, the 1719-IBN8B is suitable for Zone 2 or Class I, Division 2 installations, or safe-area configurations depending on overall system topology, enabling distributed, intrinsically safe digital inputs in demanding environments. This 8-channel DC input module is engineered to interface with NAMUR sensors in automation systems that require hazardous-location compliance while maintaining compact footprint within a 1719-compatible I/O rack.
