Description:

Allen-Bradley 1732D-IBDPM12MND ArmorBlock Input Module is a 16-point digital input block built for rugged, on-machine use within a DeviceNet ArmorBlock network. As a network-powered module, it draws power and transmits I/O data over the ArmorBlock DeviceNet backbone, eliminating the need for a separate field power supply for the I/O block. The unit provides 16 individual digital inputs for sensing standard field devices, with built-in indicators for module status, network status, and I/O health to aid diagnostics in harsh industrial environments. It is part of the ArmorBlock I/O family (Series A) and is designed to integrate with other ArmorBlock blocks on a single DeviceNet network for compact, modular on-site I/O. The 1732D-IBDPM12MND designation identifies a DeviceNet ArmorBlock configuration with 16 inputs; installation guidance is included in Rockwell Automation’s ArmorBlock installation literature. Note: Rockwell Automation announced that the ArmorBlock 16-point Input Block was discontinued as of March 31, 2025 and may no longer be available for sale through official channels.
