Allen-Bradley 1732ES-IB8XOB8 ArmorBlock Guard I/O EtherNet/IP Safety I/O module combines eight safety inputs, eight diagnostic/test outputs, and eight safety-rated outputs in a rugged, IP-rated block designed for distributed safety control over EtherNet/IP. Built for on-machine safety networks, it operates from a 24V DC safety supply and is rated for IP65/IP67 (when marked), enabling reliable performance in harsh industrial environments. Each input accepts 11 to 30 V DC and draws about 3.5 mA; the eight test outputs are rated up to 700 mA per channel at 40 °C (104 °F) and 300 mA at 55 °C (131 °F) for diagnostic signaling, while the eight safety outputs deliver up to 1 A per channel at 24 V DC for actuating safety devices. The module itself draws roughly 165 mA at 24 V DC with no load, and the outputs draw about 65 mA at 24 V DC no-load. Designed to pair with Rockwell Automation safety controllers, it facilitates monitoring of key safety devices such as interlocks, presence sensing, muting configurations, and emergency stops, delivering fast safety signaling, centralized diagnostics, and streamlined wiring compared with traditional relay-based safety circuits.
