Allen-Bradley 1734-AENT is a POINT I/O EtherNet/IP adapter module that provides a single Ethernet interface at the head of a POINT I/O network. It enables EtherNet/IP communication between a controller and POINT I/O modules, including the 1734-IB8 eight-channel input module and the 1734-OB8 eight-channel output module, to read and drive discrete 24V DC I/O over the network. As part of the POINT I/O family, the 1734-AENT is designed for DIN-rail mounted installations and connects 24V DC field devices to an Ethernet/IP control system.
