Allen-Bradley 1734-AENTR 4-Channel Analog Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1734-AENTR is a two-port EtherNet/IP POINT I/O adapter that connects a POINT I/O backplane to an Ethernet network, enabling distributed I/O in Rockwell Automation control systems. It provides two RJ‑45 Ethernet ports for network connectivity and daisy‑chaining, while supplying field power to the connected I/O via a 24 V DC supply (range 10–28.8 V). The adapter also delivers a 5 V PointBus supply to compatible I/O modules and communicates with a ControlLogix or CompactLogix controller over EtherNet/IP, supporting standard POINT I/O configurations for both analog and digital channels. Used to extend automation architectures, it enables remote monitoring and control of connected modules through Rockwell software for configuration, diagnostics, and firmware management, without requiring a separate backplane expansion beyond the POINT I/O chassis.
