Allen-Bradley 1734-EP24DC Expansion Power Module

The Allen-Bradley 1734-EP24DC Expansion Power Module is a 24V DC expansion power supply for POINT I/O, designed to provide power to a POINTBus-based I/O network. It accepts 24V DC input at up to 400 mA and delivers 5V DC to the POINTBus at up to 1.3 A, supporting the electronics and I/O modules that ride on the same bus. This Open Style, DIN-mounted module is intended to accompany POINT I/O adapters in industrial environments and is sized for DIN-rail installation. For expansion, it supports 4–17 modules per expansion, depending on the current draw of the connected modules, enabling a total system capacity of up to 63 I/O modules. Its compact footprint measures 3.0 in x 1.0 in x 5.25 in (approximately 76 mm x 25 mm x 134 mm), making it a compact yet essential component for scalable POINT I/O deployments.
