Allen-Bradley 1734-EP24DC POINT I/O Expansion Power Module is the 24V DC expansion power supply for the POINT I/O system, designed to extend backplane power and provide a dedicated field power feed for additional I/O modules. It accepts 24V DC field power at 400 mA and outputs 5V DC to the POINTBus at 1.3 A, enabling more modules to be stacked in a single POINT I/O node without overloading the backplane. By supporting expansion in 4–17 module increments, it helps reach a maximum of 63 I/O modules in a POINT I/O installation, depending on module type and load, and it mounts on DIN rail in an open style configuration for flexible panel fitting.
