Allen-Bradley 1734-EP24DC Point I Extension Power Module

The Allen-Bradley 1734-EP24DC Point I/O Extension Power Module is a 24V DC Power/Bus extension module for the POINT I/O family that provides both field-side power to connected I/O modules and expansion POWER to the POINTBus, enabling larger POINT I/O configurations without a separate backplane power supply. It accepts a nominal 24V DC input with a range of 10–28.8V DC and draws up to 400 mA on the field side to support attached devices. On the POINTBus, it delivers 5V DC power at up to 1.0 A when the input is in the 10–19.2V range, or up to 1.3 A when the input is 19.2–28.8V, helping maintain stable operation across multiple I/O modules. The module is designed for DIN-rail mounting, integrating into standard POINT I/O installations, and is used to extend both the number of I/O points and the available bus power for larger control panels. This expansion power module is part of the POINT I/O expansion ecosystem and is intended to work with compatible POINT I/O adapters and base units to simplify scalable, power-consistent distributed I/O deployments.
