Allen-Bradley 1734-IA2 Two-Channel Analog Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1734-IA2 is a POINT I/O two-channel digital input module that accepts 120 VAC signals. It provides two non-isolated inputs designed for direct connection to AC-powered devices such as proximity sensors, limit switches, and other digital sensors. The module mounts to a DIN rail in a POINT I/O chassis and is powered from the POINT I/O backplane, with a 5 V DC backplane supply and a backplane current draw of up to 75 mA. Field-side inputs are rated for 120 VAC with a nominal current draw of up to 10 mA, and the two channels are configured as sinking inputs, meaning the external device sources current to the module input. As part of Rockwell Automation’s POINT I/O family, the IA2 integrates with standard 1734 backplanes and controllers, enabling straightforward wiring for two discrete digital signals across industrial panels and manufacturing lines.
