Allen-Bradley 1734-IA4 Isolated Digital Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1734-IA4 POINT I/O is a four-channel digital input module for POINT I/O systems that accepts 120 V AC signals, packaged in an open-style, DIN-rail-ready form factor. The four inputs are nonisolated, sinking with a common return, and report discrete states to the POINTBus backplane; per-channel on-state current is typically 7.5 mA at 120 V AC (4.0–8.5 mA range), with an input impedance of about 10.6 kΩ and an off-state current around 2.7 mA at 43 V AC. The module draws roughly 0.50 W at 132 V AC and supports up to 75 mA on the POINTBus; its physical dimensions are approximately 2.21 in (H) x 0.47 in (W) x 2.97 in (D) and it weighs about 1.09 oz. It is designed to monitor 120 VAC control signals from sensors and switches within industrial automation environments; should isolation be required, the corresponding isolated variant is 1734-IA4K.
