Allen-Bradley 1734-IB8S 8-Point Safety Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1734-IB8S is an eight-point safety input module in the POINT Guard I/O family. It provides eight 24V DC safety input points with a sinking configuration and is designed to mount on a 1734 POINT I/O terminal base that provides eight terminations. The module supports CIP Safety communication over EtherNet/IP or DeviceNet networks when used with compatible POINT I/O adapters, enabling safe, per-channel input monitoring and status reporting. It includes muting and test-output capabilities to verify safety circuits, and presents a combined safety monitor status for quick health checks. Built for industrial environments with IP20 protection, it's commonly used to interface with safety devices such as interlocks, guard doors, emergency-stop circuits, and other 24V DC safety inputs in machine panels and automated lines.
