Allen-Bradley 1734-IB8S Digital Input Safety Module

The Allen-Bradley 1734-IB8S Digital Input Safety Module is an 8-channel POINT Guard I/O safety input module that monitors eight sinking 24V DC safety signals and reports per-channel status to the POINT I/O network. Designed for use with 1734-MB mounting bases, it enables scalable safety sensing for machine guards, interlocks, and emergency-stop circuits within a Rockwell Automation safety system. Each input is independently monitored, with on-state threshold at a minimum of 11V and off-state at 5V, plus electronic short-circuit protection and overcurrent detection for reliable fault indication. Operating in industrial environments from -20°C to 55°C, the module integrates with other POINT Guard I/O safety modules and safety outputs for centralized diagnostics and straightforward commissioning.
