Allen-Bradley 1734-IE4C Analog Input Module 4-Channel
Allen-Bradley 1734-IE4C Analog Input Module 4-Channel
Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1734-IE4C is a four-channel, high-density POINT I/O analog input module that reads 4-20 mA current loops (and can be configured for 0-20 mA) from field devices in process and factory automation, delivering reliable, real-time current-to-digital conversion for distributed I/O networks. Each of the four channels is a non-isolated, single-ended current input, designed for compact expansion within a POINT I/O chassis, with separate channel data mappable into the controller's input data table. The module is powered via the POINT I/O backplane with a 24 V DC supply and interfaces with common transmitters such as flow meters, pressure transducers, temperature sensors, and level sensors, making it a practical drop-in for process control and plant automation. Operating temperature range is -20 to 55 °C, and the module is part of Rockwell Automation's POINT I/O system, designed for rugged industrial environments. Applications include monitoring process variables in batch and continuous processes, energy management, and instrumentation retrofit projects where current-loop signals from field devices must be digitized by a Logix-based controller.
