Allen-Bradley 1734-IR2E 2-Channel RTD Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1734-IR2E is a POINT I/O 24V DC RTD input module that provides two high-resolution, single-ended RTD inputs for temperature sensing in industrial automation. It uses two non-isolated RTD inputs, designed for Pt385 RTDs, with an input range of 78.12 Ω to 234.38 Ω and 16-bit resolution at 25 °C, equating to 2.4 mΩ per count and about 0.006 °C per count for Pt385. The open-style module mounts on a DIN rail and is powered from a 24V DC field supply, compatible with POINT I/O backplanes. In operation, the IR2E reports six input data bytes plus fault status to the scanner, enabling straightforward monitoring of both RTD channels.
