Allen-Bradley 1734-OB8 FLEX I O Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1734-OB8 POINT I/O 8-channel DC sourcing output module provides eight 24V DC outputs for the FLEX I/O POINT I/O network and mounts on the 1734-MB base to form a compact I/O node. Each output channel is rated for 1.0 A max, with a combined module limit of 3.0 A, making it suitable for driving discrete loads such as 24V coils, relays, indicators, and small actuators from a PLC. The outputs are sourcing (positive) type and operate from a nominal 24V DC load supply, with an on-state voltage drop up to 0.2 V. Power for the outputs is supplied via the POINTBus backplane from the associated POINT I/O adapter, enabling field power distribution over the same backplane used for communications. The 8 outputs are accessed as Out 0 through Out 7, with wiring that follows the installation guide’s channel-to-terminal mapping, common, and supply connections.
