Allen-Bradley 1734-OB8E Enhanced Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1734-OB8E Enhanced Output Module is a POINT I/O digital output module designed for 24V DC control in distributed PLC systems, commonly installed in machine control panels, conveyors, and manufacturing lines. It provides eight sourcing, non-isolated outputs (one group of eight) with an output voltage of 10–28.8 V DC (nominal 24 V) and up to 1 A per channel, plus a 2 A surge for 10 ms. The module mounts on a DIN rail within POINT I/O systems and is compatible with CompactLogix and ControlLogix platforms, operating from -20 to 55°C. It features electronically protected outputs, about 2.0 W power dissipation, and a POINTBus current of approximately 75 mA, with common replacements including 1734-OB8, 1734-OB4E, and 1734-OV8E.
