Allen-Bradley 1734-OB8E Point I/O Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1734-OB8E POINT I/O Digital Output Module provides eight 24V DC, sourcing (non-isolated) outputs for discrete control in distributed PLC architectures. It mounts on a DIN rail in POINT I/O systems and is compatible with CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers, delivering up to 1 A per channel with a ~0.1 ms ON/OFF response and about 2.0 W of power dissipation; outputs are electronically protected and the module draws roughly 75 mA from the POINTBus. With a 10–28.8 V DC operating range (24 V nominal), 8 outputs in a single group, and -20 to 55 C operation, this module drives actuators, relays, contactors, and indicator devices in applications such as packaging lines, material handling, and process automation; common replacements include 1734-OB8, 1734-OB4E, and 1734-OV8E.
