Allen-Bradley 1734-PDN DeviceNet Adapter

Allen-Bradley 1734-PDN DeviceNet Adapter is the POINT I/O starter module that provides a DeviceNet interface and field power to a POINT I/O bank, creating a dedicated DeviceNet node for distributed I/O. It supports DeviceNet at 125K, 250K, and 500K bit/s, with network ranges up to 500 m at 125K, 250 m at 250K, or 100 m at 500K depending on cabling and topology. Powered from 24V DC (nominal) and drawing up to 400 mA, it typically consumes 8.1 W at 28.8V DC, with the field power bus capable of delivering up to 10 A; operating voltage range is 10–28.8V DC. The module provides 248 input bytes and 248 output bytes of I/O capacity and uses DeviceNet field wiring terminated via Allen-Bradley 1485C-P1-Cxxx cabling; field wiring terminations on the DeviceNet side are arranged as 1 — Black (V), 2 — Blue (CAN low), 3 — Bare shield, 4 — White (CAN high), 5 — Red (+V). Installable on the left side of a POINT I/O chassis, the 1734-PDN acts as the DeviceNet interface and power source that enables the connected I/O modules to communicate over the DeviceNet network.
