The Allen-Bradley 1734-RTBS Remote Terminal Base Station is the POINT I/O terminal base that pairs with mounting base 1734-MB to form a complete RTB-based terminal base for 1734 I/O modules. It provides an 8-position spring-clamp terminal base (RTB) interface that snaps into the mounting base. The 1734-RTBS, together with 1734-MB, is sold as the 1734-TBS assembly that mounts on a DIN rail for use in distributed I/O applications in industrial automation. The RTB accepts 0.08–2.5 mm² (28–14 AWG) conductors, and the environmental specs include an operating range of -20 to 55 °C and up to 95% relative humidity, making it suitable for harsh factory environments.
