Allen-Bradley 1734-TOP3S One-Piece Terminal Base

Allen-Bradley 1734-TOP3S is a one-piece POINT I/O terminal base that mounts on a DIN rail to accept a single POINT I/O module. The open-style base features 12 spring-clamp terminals for field wiring, enabling straightforward connection of twelve conductors. It supports copper conductors in the range 0.25–2.5 mm² (22–14 AWG), solid or stranded and rated at least 75 °C. The terminal base provides reinforced insulation with an isolation voltage of 240 V AC (tested to 3250 V DC for 60 s from field to system) and uses a field power bus supply of 28.8 V DC, with 120/240 V AC compatibility. The TOP3S version weighs about 66.8 g and is designed for open-style DIN mounting; note that torque values shown for screw-based bases (0.6 Nm for 1734-TOP and 1734-TOP3) do not apply to the TOP3S spring-clamp base. This base is used to wire a single POINT I/O module in industrial panels, part of Allen-Bradley’s POINT I/O family that provides modular field wiring and backplane connectivity.
