Allen-Bradley 1738-232ASCM12 ArmorPoint ASCII Interface is a single-channel RS-232 ASCII input module for ArmorPoint I/O, designed to operate from a 24 VDC supply in rugged industrial environments. It provides a dedicated RS-232 serial interface (full duplex) to exchange ASCII data between a host controller and ArmorPoint devices, enabling ASCII commands and responses to flow through the ArmorPoint network. The module is part of the ArmorPoint I/O family and uses a DC Micro (M12) power interface, with a sealed, IP69K-rated housing for harsh environments.
