Allen-Bradley 1738-ADN18 ArmorPoint DeviceNet Network Adaptor
Allen-Bradley 1738-ADN18 ArmorPoint DeviceNet Network Adaptor
Description:
Allen-Bradley 1738-ADN18 ArmorPoint DeviceNet Network Adaptor is an ArmorPoint I/O communications adaptor that connects ArmorPoint field modules to a DeviceNet network via a Mini Connector - Drop interface. It accepts 10–28 V DC on the field side (nominal 24 V DC) and draws up to 400 mA, with a typical power consumption of 8.0 W at 24 V and a maximum dissipation of 2.8 W at 28.8 V; inrush current is specified as 6 A for 10 ms. The ADN18 supports autobaud negotiation on the primary DeviceNet network and is part of the ArmorPoint DeviceNet adapter family, alongside 1738-ADN12 and 1738-ADN18P variants. This adaptor provides DeviceNet communication for ArmorPoint I/O networks in industrial control applications, commonly used to interface ArmorPoint I/O modules in manufacturing, packaging, and process-control environments.
