Allen-Bradley 1738-AENT EtherNet/IP Adapter Module
Allen-Bradley 1738-AENT EtherNet/IP Adapter Module
Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1738-AENT ArmorPoint EtherNet/IP Adapter Module is a single-port EtherNet/IP interface that connects ArmorPoint I/O modules to a Rockwell Automation control system over an EtherNet/IP network. Powered from a 24V DC field supply, it accepts an input range of 10-28V DC and draws about 4.5W at 24V, with an inrush current up to 6 A for 10 ms and a maximum power dissipation around 2.8 W at higher voltages. The device uses M12 Quick-Disconnect field connectors and is designed for ArmorPoint I/O networks, enabling communication between ArmorPoint digital and analog I/O modules and a PLC or controller on the EtherNet/IP network. As part of the ArmorPoint family, the 1738-AENT provides a rugged, DIN-rail-ready solution for distributing I/O across a factory floor while maintaining compatibility with standard Rockwell software and EtherNet/IP architectures.
