Allen-Bradley 1745-LP101 Programmable Logic Controller Module

Allen-Bradley 1745-LP101 FRN 5 is the EEPROM memory module used with the SLC-100 PLC family, designed to plug into the SLC-100 processor unit to load and store ladder logic programs. In the SLC-100 system, the processor unit provides 16 I/O points (10 inputs, 6 outputs), while the LP101 memory module attaches to the processor to back up and transfer the RAM-based PLC program to and from EEPROM using PC software or a pocket programmer. The SLC-100 platform, including LP101 and related LP102 variants, was introduced in the late 1980s as a compact micro PLC family for machine tools, packaging, and material-handling applications. This memory module enables storing the processor RAM program into the EEPROM and loading a Ladder Diagram program from EEPROM into RAM, supporting field updates and program preservation.
