Allen-Bradley 1746-A7 PLC Processor Module SLC-500

The Allen-Bradley 1746-A7 is a 7-slot SLC-500 modular chassis that accepts a processor in slot 0 and up to six I/O modules in slots 1–6, forming the backbone of a compact SLC-500 control rack. Power is supplied through a separate 1746 power supply (typical choice: 1746-P4) with 240 V AC input to run the backplane and mounted modules. Compatible I/O modules include the 1746-IB16 16-channel 24 V DC input (current sinking), the 1746-IM16 16-channel 240 V AC input, the 1746-OA16 16-channel 240 V AC triac output, and the 1746-OB16 16-channel 24 V DC output (current sourcing), among other SLC-500 options. Operating temperature ranges from 0 to 60 °C with up to 95% relative humidity, and the storage range is −40 to 85 °C, aligning with Series 1 SLC-500 requirements.
