Allen-Bradley 1746-HSRV Servo Control Module S27
Allen-Bradley 1746-HSRV Servo Control Module S27
Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1746-HSRV SLC Servo Control Module is a single-axis, closed-loop servo controller designed for the SLC 500 family to drive a servo axis through compatible industrial servo drives. It is mounted in an SLC 500 I/O chassis and serves as the analog velocity command interface, converting PLC logic signals into precise velocity updates for the servo motor. Key electrical interface features include three 24 V DC inputs and one 24 V DC output, enabling the module to receive the PLC's control signals and deliver the commanded motion signal to the servo drive. The velocity command signal is programmable within a range around ±10 V DC, providing a broad control span for various servo drives. As a single-axis, closed-loop controller, 1746-HSRV relies on feedback from the servo system to maintain accurate positioning and speed, and it is typically used with Rockwell Automation servo drives that accept an analog velocity input. Officially compatible with the SLC 500 family, it is commonly paired with SLC 5/03 FRN 5.0 or later systems.
