Allen-Bradley 1746-IA16 16-Point Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1746-IA16 is a 16-channel digital AC input module for the SLC 500 family. Each of its 16 inputs is designed to sense AC signals in the 85–132 VAC RMS range (47–63 Hz), allowing direct interface to common AC field devices such as pushbuttons, limit switches, relays, and contactors. Installed in a 1746-series I/O rack, the IA16 communicates input status to the SLC 500 CPU through the standard I/O bus, providing a 16-point interface for monitoring multiple AC-powered signals in a single module. The IA16 is used to expand discrete input capability on projects that already run the SLC 500 controller, enabling straightforward integration with existing Rockwell Automation hardware and software in Rockwell RSLogix/Studio 500 environments.
