The Allen-Bradley 1746-ITB16 is a SLC 500 16-channel digital input module that provides fast-response, 24V DC sinking inputs for Allen‑Bradley SLC 500 controllers. It accepts a 10–30V DC input range with a single common for all channels and draws about 85 mA from the backplane at 5V. With a maximum signal delay of 0.3–0.5 ms, it is designed for high-speed discrete sensing tasks, such as limit switches and pushbuttons, in industrial automation. The 1746-ITB16 plugs into a standard 1746 backplane and is used alongside other SLC 500 I/O modules to scale a control system.
