Allen-Bradley 1746-NI4 is a SLC 500 four-channel analog input module that provides the PLC with digital representations of DC voltage signals sourced from field devices. Each channel accepts -10 to +10 V DC, and the module offers up to 16-bit resolution across all four inputs. Channel isolation is rated at 500 V AC and 710 V DC, protecting the backplane from transients while allowing safe interfacing to external sensors. Backplane current draw is 25 mA from the 5 V rail and 85 mA from the 24 V supply, reflecting its power needs in SLC 500 racks.
