Allen-Bradley 1746-NI8 Analog Input Module 8-Channel

The Allen-Bradley 1746-NI8 is an 8-channel analog input module for SLC 500 controllers, delivering high-resolution signal acquisition for PLC-based control. It provides 16-bit resolution across eight single-ended inputs with voltage ranges of ±10 V, 0–10 V, and 1–5 V, and current ranges of 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA, enabling precise monitoring of sensors and transmitters. The module mounts in an SLC 500 chassis and draws about 0.085 A at 5 V DC on the backplane, with an operating temperature range of 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F). Commonly used to interface pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature and level sensors in chemical processing, food and beverage, water and wastewater treatment, and broader industrial automation, it also serves as a replacement or expansion option compatible with 1746-NI4, 1746-NIO4V, and 1769-IF8.
