The Allen-Bradley 1746-NIO4V is a 4-channel analog I/O module for the SLC 500 backplane that combines two analog input channels with two analog voltage output channels in a single card. The two analog inputs are configured as differential AI channels for sensing from field devices, while the two voltage output channels are driven by a 14‑bit DAC, enabling precise control of analog actuators and interfaces.
