The Allen-Bradley 1746-NO4I is a four-channel analog current output module for the SLC 500 family, delivering isolated 0–20 mA outputs on each channel. Each channel is galvanically isolated from the backplane and other channels, with backplane current draw roughly 195 mA at 24 V DC, an update time of 512 microseconds, and a 14‑bit output resolution (16-bit input). The module requires a 24 V DC supply and, in some installations, uses an external power switch for NO4I/NO4V configurations. Rockwell Automation discontinued the 1746-NO4I on April 29, 2021, and the unit operates within a 0–60 C ambient temperature range.
