Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1746-NO4V is a four-channel voltage-output module for the SLC 500 family, delivering bipolar ±10 V DC signals to drive analog actuators and proportional valves. Each channel can source up to 10 mA, with 16-bit resolution (1.5 mV steps unipolar; 0.305 mV bipolar) and a typical per-channel update time of 5 ms (20 ms for all four channels). The outputs share a common reference, are not individually isolated, and are wired through a removable 12-point terminal block; the module uses both a 5 V backplane and a +24 V backplane for power. Typical applications include analog control loops and proportional valve control, with backplane current draw of about 0.055 A at 5 V and 0.145 A at 24 V.
